Do you remember the big PLR Gold Video launch a couple of weeks ago from Edmund Loh & Stephen Luc?

These videos were a bit hit. In fact, there are several marketers’ newsletters that I receive that are promoting these themselves and monetizing them.

They are still available here

BUT, here’s what I’ve seen: some have taken the sales page that was included with the videos and only changed the copy to include their own name on it…a couple haven’t even done that! They have just taken the page, uploaded to their webhosting and added their own Paypal button…that’s IT!

I mean, that’s ok and all, but these are PLR products!

You can do just about anything you want with them…you’ll have to read the terms to find out exactly what you can do with them, but you get my drift…change them somehow…

Well, if you missed it two weeks ago, fellow marketer and PLR Master, Doug Champigny held the first ever PLR Video Training Seminar.

That seminar was packed. It sold out in a matter of days!

The seminar covered the methods that you can use to convert PLR Videos (any PLR videos) into your very own branded product to sell, and reap the profits for yourself.

It was just over 80 minutes in length and the content was superb!

In case you haven’t noticed lately, the world of Information Marketing is heavily into video and Doug took the bull by the horns and showed us all how we can flip or brand these PLR videos into our own and make them completely unique.

Here’s the great thing about that seminar…

Until December 2nd (or until all the licenses are gone), Doug is giving you the chance to reserve your very own copy of that teleseminar complete with resell rights!

The Package includes:

  • The entire recording of the call in MP3 format.
  • The written transcript of the call in .PDF format.
  • A screen-capture video presentation of the call, demonstrating each step described.
  • Professional salespage to sell the product from.
  • Download page designed for you to use as-is or add bonuses or back-end offers to.

It’s hard to put a value on this package, but it could easily sell for AT LEAST $197, but if you act quickly, you can get all of that for 50% off of what the package will actually sell for on December 3rd when he releases it to the general public…

with NO resell rights!!!

Just a recommendation…I would get over there rather quickly and get your copy before they are gone…..

just like the ticket into the seminar…

they’re going like hotcakes!!

I hope you are planning a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. Reserving your copy of this training seminar can make it that much better!

Making a list and Checking it Twice

How’s your list?

Do you need to scroll through several pages and hope you don’t miss anyone? (Good for you!)

Or can you count your subscribers just using your hands and feet? Checking it twice with NO problems at all!

Well, let’s change that…here’s another fast way to add hundreds or even thousands of new subscribers to your list, fast.

Namely, by participating in a JV (joint venture) giveaway event.

Here are 3 of them:

Thanksgiving Giveaway (going on right now…you can still download gifts)
Santa’s Big Giveaway (Starting tomorrow, hurry to get in)
Merry Christmas Giveaway (Opens November 30, still time to get in!)

Here’s how it works…

A group of marketers get together for a giveaway event. Each marketer offers something of value, typically software or an ebook, to add to the event.

Here’s a note worth remembering: Giving something of value means you should create something entirely new for this event, or you should be giving away something that you previously sold. Either way, just make sure you aren’t giving away a freebie that you’ve given away elsewhere.

Do you need some PLR material to put together an ebook quickly?

Get it here

If everyone gives away valuable products, the giveaway event itself earns a good reputation.

These aren’t small events with only a handful of marketers contributing products. Nope, in these you will see at least half a dozen to several dozen marketers chipping in products for the event.

Now here’s how you build your list:

The only way someone can get their hands on your freebie is by opting into your newsletter.

You can also see why you should be offering something valuable – when a giveaway event visitor is faced with opting into a dozen or more lists to receive freebies, he’s likely to pick and choose carefully so he only gets the freebies he really wants.

Now, if you just want to download, you can skirt around that issue by upgrading when you first sign up for the event. That allows you to get direct download links to the products WITHOUT signing up for a newsletter.

Depending on the event, it also allows you to add one time offers which will generate some additional income depending on how your backend, or OTO (One Time Offer) is set up. You can get additional information on setting up your own OTO here.

That means if you create a super-attractive gift AND give visitors a compelling reason why they should opt in to get your gift, you can expect plenty of new subscribers.

The final component that pulls the entire event together to make it a success is that all the participating marketers send information to their current list(s) about the event, blog about the event, and so on.

Usually, event participants are given a special link to promote the event. That way the event organizers can offer “perks” to those who send lots of traffic, such as showing the marketer’s freebie at the top of the list (which means that marketer will get more new subscribers).

These events are viral because not only do you have several marketers telling their lists about them, you also have the prospects talking about the event.

Another way that they are viral is the sites tend to stay up past their ‘closing’ dates, so if someone finds the giveaway site through a search engine, you may get signups in the future.

So what are you waiting for?

Get over and signup quickly for the events and start/continue building your list.

Ribs, Blues, and Internet Marketing

You’re probably wondering what the heck that headline means…well, let me explain…

The past two evenings I had the opportunity to attend a Men’s event at the church that I belong to…the event was titled Ribs & Blues and the basic concept was to get a large group of guys together for a nice dinner (they catered in Famous Daves..mmMMmm :) ) and then listen to some Blues music performed by one of the worship leaders of the church and ‘his’ band.

Both nights were outstanding. The ribs were excellent and I got to listen to one of my favorite performers, Steve Duede. You can check him and his band out here. Check out the YouTube video of Noah, the harmonica player….he’s not bad.

Last night, during a break between songs, he made mention of the performance the night before and how that was just a ‘rehearsal’ for last night’s gig. He was right…the Sunday night gig was good, but not as good as last nights. They played for nearly 20 minutes longer than they did the night before and they did a lot more improv during the show.

But his comment got me thinking about the Information Marketing biz and how we do things.

In the beginning, we fumble around trying different things. Some may work, some may fail. But it’s sort of like a rehearsal. You’re practicing to get things to work without much effort.

Once you figure out what works you can refine it and repeat it. Rinse, Repeat. Rinse, Repeat.

Having things on autopilot. Isn’t that our goal in the Information marketing business?

Speaking of rinsing and repeating, one of the most important things you can do as an Information Marketer is to refine your email marketing and list building skills.

I have come across a set of video tutorials recently that will knock your socks off.

Are your emails pulling in $300-500 each time you send one out?

If they aren’t, you definitely need to look at the Responsive Email Marketing Video Tutorials!

This is a simple secret that most beginning email marketers miss. So they waste their time trying to grow their list bigger and bigger – thinking it’s the only way to increase their sales.

But the truth is, you can much more easily double your sales by writing a more responsive email rather than trying to double your number of subscribers.

Find out more here.

Now…to be honest, I ate way too many ribs the past couple of days, so I need to go take it easy for a while…

Til next time,
