Earl,

I really don't do a 'separate' test. What I to do is send a test to my main email account (which uses html through the email client I am using) and then send another test to an email account that I read using plain text.

I spose I could do the same thing by changing the 'properties' in the email client I am using for my main email account, but that would be too much hassle, and I am lazy :)

Andre, when you find that 'do over' button, let me know where it's hiding.

Thanks, all, for the comments...

Hey Ron,

Look at it this way, it's a proven fact that people need to see offers 3-7 times before making a decision, so you went ahead and got the first two out of the way right off the bat! ;~)

Adios,

Join the club my friend,

I'm sure that everyone that has been doing this for any length of time has made a mistake when it comes to sending out an e-mail among many other things.

All you can do is learn from your mistakes and try not to do it again.

Have a good one Ron!

BTW: Earl, when you are testing your e-mails you do that through your e-mail client. Not sure about yours, but when I am using the webmail version of my e-mail client I can look at both versions. It displays the HTML version by default, but I have a link that I can click on that will display the text version. I doubt that all clients will do this but it sure comes in handy.

Get back with me Earl and we can talk in more detail (You know how)!

Yeah Ron, you're a dweeb alright for thinking your special. :) most of us mere humans make stupid mistakes all the time. But just for the record, how do you do a separate test for plain text and html versions on aweber?

I think we have all been there and would like to have a do-over button somewhere that we could hit. It will get better.

Ahh the mistakes we make when working late.

No you should always check the emails before sending but...

I have been guilty of that one once or twice.

Hi Ron,

You are not the only one, happened to me, learned from it. But still sometimes a weak moment or mainly it happens when I'm trying to do things in a rush.

Getting lot of e-mails from "big" mailers correcting their links from previous e-mails (hmm...maybe just a way to mail twice...)

So cheer up, you are not alone...
