		<description>Ron,

I like this from your post. I have received emails that were full of affiliate links. It would have been nice if some of them had followed this concept.
“I’m simply trying to get the point across that you don’t need to be an affiliate for every product or website you happen to mention to your readers under the guise of trying to help them.”

Perception is one of those things that is hard to control. Your suggestions about giving without taken are great points.

The problem with perception is that once it is set, it’s almost impossible to change. If your readers get the idea that you do not want to help them, then you have an uphill battle to change that perception.

<description>Some of the better marketers that I know have learned that lesson so there must be something in what you say. I believe you are on the right track so stick with it.

<description>It&#039;s so true, without giving value to your potential customers, they will most likely leave you and go buy from someone else.

Building a proper relationship takes time and work, but it pays of in the end.

<description>Good Post Ron. Liked the idea of sharing the internet dictionary. I may copy you on that one.

<description>Great point and very glad you get value from my blog. It is really simple and Jeffrey Gitomer says it best although this is paraphrased not a direct quote.

All things being equal people buy from people they like. All things not being equal they still buy from people they like.

Building relationships is just good business.
