Jobless ranks hit 10 million–Another Teaching Opportunity!
As I was perusing the newspaper this weekend, this headline jumped out at me–
‘Jobless ranks hit 10 million, most in a quarter-century; unemployment hits 14-year high‘
Now, at first glance, this is not good news. It means that there are more people out of work today than there has been in the past 25 years.
Are you one of them?
It means that, depending on what kind of work you do, the competition for openings that could arise in that field is going to be fierce.
How would you like to go into a job interview and find out that there are, say, 15 other people who they are interviewing for that position?
Unless you have perfected the interview process, the chances of you landing that job are slim…and even if you do, the salary for the position is probably going to be lower than what you were previously making…
So you have a couple of choices here…stay on the job search merry-go-round and become more and more frustrated as time goes by or until the economy takes a drastic upturn and companies start hiring back the people they let go.
How long is that going to be??
How well honed are YOUR speculation skills?
That’s what I thought.
Teaching Opportunity
Here is where the teaching opportunity comes in. How many of those 10 million people have internet access? I would speculate 
somewhere in the 60-75% range, which means that there are 6-7.5 million people out there who MAY just turn to their computer to find out how they can make some extra moola.
Ok, let’s look at the low side…let’s say that you could get just 1% of those people on your list. That’s an additional 60,000 subscribers.
How would you like to have access to that many potential subscribers or customers on your list? I bet every single Information Marketer out there would!
How about one half of one percent? Would 30,000 subscribers make a difference in your business? I know it would in mine.

You are right on target. I would recommend anyone considering how to use teaching skills on the internet, get familiar with some of the webinar programs such as GO TO Meeting and Webex.
I personally use Go To Meeting and find it quite easy to use.
It gives you the ability to teach from any location and allows the student the same freedom.
